That's why we're building hk3k: not another chatbot, not another notes app, but an AI workspace where every part — conversations, notes, tasks, sites, even your imported Notion and ChatGPT history — knows about every other part. Most of the organizing happens automatically.

We make it for people who want more than a generic assistant. They want an AI that understands their context, remembers everything they've told it, and can actually do the work — not just describe it.

Why We Built hk3k

Like many of you, we struggled with information overload: articles read and forgotten, quotes lost in endless scrolls, research scattered across too many tools.

Generic AI didn't understand our context. Note-taking apps required constant effort. Search tools couldn't connect the dots. ChatGPT, and other chatbot software built by foundation models companies, have had improved models behind the scenes, but we believe there is a much bigger world of awesome to be tapped when using AI that the model companies have been slow to progress.

hk3k was born to fix this. We didn't want a better chatbot — we wanted a single AI that lives where the work actually happens: across your conversations, your notes, your tasks, and yes, even the websites you'd otherwise build elsewhere. One brain, one workspace, one conversation away from anything you need.

What's Next

hk3k is just getting started. Recently we shipped the agent loop (one prompt builds an entire workspace), the conversational website builder, the ability to import an existing site by URL, scheduled tasks with reminders, and a Telegram bot. Next up: deeper Notion integration, email + calendar awareness, and Google Drive imports. The full picture is on the roadmap.

Our Team

42RobotsAI brings together engineers, designers, and researchers with experience in AI engineering, search systems, and user experience.

We're building hk3k not just as a product, but as the tool we've always wished existed – one that augments human intelligence instead of replacing it.

The current team consists of David Hood, project lead and developer, and Jacob Gruver, a creative UI/UX designer.
